“Personality” is the summer soundtrack that’s needed for those looking for hope in the post‑pandemic world.

Produced, Recorded, & Mixed by: Kyle Krone

Southern California duo Casual Vice enters the summer of 2021 full of confidence. The duo came together at the beginning of 2020. And in that time, Kyle Krone (The Shys) and Brandon Hoogenboom (Set Sail) have penned 42 songs, released two EPs (acquainted with the night and Joie De Vivre), and are on the verge of releasing their debut album, On the Exotic later this summer.

“Personality”, released today, is Casual Vice’s first single off of On the Exotic. It’s an ode to the post‑pandemic world filled with pride, passion, and promise. Krone describes it best, “Musically speaking, this song is the sound I imagine in a post‑pandemic reality, one full of possibilities and potential,” Krone says. “The kind of world infused with a collective invigorated youthful optimism and enthusiasm, full of the benefits of seeing the world anew.”

Let’s hope Mr. Krone is right. A future “full of possibilities and potential” sounds like a winning formula to live by. Especially considering the past year and a half we have all been through.
