Sydney soundwaves are transformed as Arky Waters releases his latest EP, Bumper

Australian newcomer Arky Waters makes a bold statement with his latest EP, Bumper, a 4-track collection of songs that seamlessly blend breakbeat, jungle, and tech-house electronica.
Produced by: Arky Waters
Released via Mammal Sounds Records, Bumper showcases Waters’ diverse influences and his ability to craft infectious dancefloor anthems. Throughout the EP, Waters explores a range of sounds and styles, drawing inspiration from the vibrant dance music scene in Sydney. Tracks like ‘Take My Time,’ ‘Gum,’ and ‘Hercules’ showcase Waters’ versatility as a producer, with each song offering something unique while maintaining a cohesive sound.
In his own words, Waters describes Bumper as a tribute to the diverse music scene in Sydney:
“Bumper is a collection of tracks I made heavily inspired by the current dance music scene in Sydney. You have so many new crews and promoters all pushing different types of music – every weekend I would go out and hear something different. The best part is they’re all pushing music that they love. I guess I wanted to honor all the people that I’ve met along the way – something for the techno heads, the junglists, and UKG ravers. The best part is everyone listens to everything nowadays, and you see similar faces everywhere you go. I will forever be a student of electronic music, and I think this EP is a reflection of that.”
Overall, Bumper is a testament to Waters’ talent as a producer and his dedication to pushing the boundaries of electronic music. With its infectious beats, lush melodies, and infectious energy, this EP is sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners and solidify Arky Waters’ place in the Australian music scene.
