Wild Pink share new single ‘Sprinter Brain’ ahead of forthcoming album Dulling The Horns
Dulling The Horns is set to drop on October 4th via Fire Talk.
Wild Pink’s latest single, ‘Sprinter Brain,’ encapsulates the band’s ability to blend heartland rock with expansive, shoegaze-inspired textures, all within a tight 3.5-minute track. The song draws inspiration from a stressful tour experience, with frontman John Ross using the story as a backdrop for a more personal narrative. The track features a driving riff that eventually gives way to a serene, saxophone-filled bridge, showcasing the band’s sonic evolution.
“This song is kind of about learning how to deal with your problems and not catastrophizing. Just trying to be more realistic and objective when times get stressful. It’s one of the faster songs I’ve written in a while and really fun to play live.”
‘Sprinter Brain’ is available now on your favorite DSP. Dulling The Horns is out on October 4th via Fire Talk.
