WHIPPED CREAM has returned with her first release of 2026, the new single ‘it’s time to go home,’ out now via Monstercat. The track marks a clear tonal shift for the Canadian producer and vocalist, signaling a new artistic direction built around reflection, restraint, and emotional clarity.

Driven by industrial-leaning electronic production, ‘it’s time to go home’ pairs pulsating bass lines and detailed techno textures with WHIPPED CREAM’s controlled alto vocals. The song unfolds gradually, using a steady build to mirror its themes of existential tension and emotional exhaustion. As the track progresses, heavier elements give way to brighter tones, creating contrast that reflects the internal push and pull at the heart of the song. The production emphasizes atmosphere and momentum, allowing space for both weight and release.

WHIPPED CREAM explains:

“It’s me coming home to myself — to the girl in the kitchen who used to hit record on her laptop and dream of dance floors she hadn’t stepped on yet. It’s nostalgia wrapped in cinematic synths, the sound that first pulled me into electronic music. I recorded raw textures in my own house so the record feels lived-in, human, imperfect in all the right ways. Home is a return, but also a reintroduction: this is where I started, and this is where I’m choosing to stand now.”

While no album has been announced, the single sets the foundation for WHIPPED CREAM’s next phase. Fans can also expect her return to the touring and festival circuit, following past appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Tomorrowland.

‘It’s time to go home’ is available now to stream on all major platforms.
