Weakened Friends rage against burnout on new single ‘Tough Luck (Bleed Me Out)’

Weakened Friends are back with a searing new anthem, ‘Tough Luck (Bleed Me Out),’ the first taste of their upcoming album Feels Like Hell, out October 10 via Don Giovanni Records.
With explosive guitars, raw vocals, and a massive chorus, ‘Tough Luck (Bleed Me Out)’ wastes no time announcing itself as a cathartic middle finger to toxic productivity culture. It’s a rallying cry for anyone who’s ever been told to work harder while burning out from the effort. Drawing from years of frustration and dead-end jobs, the song speaks directly to the reality of being chewed up and spit out by a system that equates worth with output.
The band says of the song:
“After years of bouncing between underpaid, dead-end part-time jobs and being treated like a cog in a machine, we channeled that frustration into a rallying cry against toxic capitalism. It’s both a personal exorcism and a collective anthem for anyone who’s ever felt burned out, used up, and still told to be grateful for the privilege. It’s a reminder that there’s power in stepping back, speaking out, and saying no to a system that was never built to care about us in the first place.”
‘Tough Luck (Bleed Me Out)’ is out now on all major platforms. Feels Like Hell arrives October 10.
