Tuxis Giant release fan-favorite ‘Days’ with surreal new music video

With their new album You Won’t Remember This due August 15 via Worry Bead Records, Tuxis Giant return with one final offering: the fan-favorite track ‘Days,’ out now alongside a brand new music video.
Written during the disorienting stretch of the pandemic, ‘Days’ is a brief yet immersive two-minute meditation on the in-between—those hazy hours between work and rest, between numbness and joy. The track captures the soft blur of daily life and the invisible magic that hums beneath the surface.
The song was partially inspired by the animated films of Hayao Miyazaki and their reverent depictions of labor. Like Spirited Away reimagined through indie folk, ‘Days’ invites listeners into a spiritual, unseen world that flickers just beyond the everyday. Its whimsical spirit is one of quiet resilience—an ode to moments often missed.
The music video accompanying ‘Days’ deepens the song’s surreal tone, pairing hand-drawn textures and twilight hues with subtle movement. Directed with a soft-focus sensibility, the visual evokes memory like a half-remembered dream—weightless, but deeply felt.
‘Days’ is out now.
