tibia’s ‘Loud with You (Angel)’ channels bittersweet intensity
Composed of Vide Willemark and Elias Sahlin, Stockholm duo tibia, have unveiled ‘Loud with You (Angel),’ the latest single from their forthcoming debut album See What Heaven Looks Like Now, out March 14th.
Produced with August Vinberg (Karol G, Camila Cabello), ‘Loud with You (Angel)’ explores the exhilaration and fleeting nature of life’s most intense moments. The track’s jagged guitars and heavy breakbeats provide a thrilling backdrop to its narrative of love, urgency, and existential reckoning.
Tibia described the track’s premise as follows:
“‘Loud with You (Angel)’ takes place on a Saturday that also happens to be the last day on earth. You’re a bit hungover from yesterday, you’re trying to build up courage to head out into the night while also knowing that this is your last chance. Express your secret love, unveil your deepest secrets, and let out the angel you’ve always wanted to be. There’s a rooftop party in the city with a big clock on the wall – it’s counting down the minute. You only have 120 minutes, 119 minutes, 118 minutes.. fuck, I need you oh so bad. For what is a Sunday if not the end of the world?”
With ‘Loud with You (Angel),’ tibia delivers a gripping preview of the energy and emotional depth fans can expect from their debut album.
