The Faint unearth lost Blank-Wave Arcade-era track ‘Brokers, Priests & Analysts’

The Faint have shared ‘Brokers, Priests & Analysts,’ a previously unreleased track from the Blank-Wave Arcade era, ahead of the album’s deluxe reissue on March 14 via Saddle Creek. The song arrives alongside a newly remastered version of ‘Worked Up So Sexual,’ giving fans a fresh glimpse into the band’s early synth-punk roots.
A relic from the late ’90s, ‘Brokers, Priests & Analysts’ embodies a blend of jagged post-punk energy and pulsing synth rhythms. The track reflects the raw, frenetic essence of Blank-Wave Arcade, an album that helped define the band’s forward-thinking approach to electronic music. The song’s unearthed release serves as a reminder of The Faint’s impact in carving out a space for synth-driven indie rock at a time when the genre was still finding its footing.
In addition to ‘Brokers, Priests & Analysts,’ the reissue of Blank-Wave Arcade will feature remixes, live recordings, and other previously unreleased material. This revival of The Faint’s early work coincides with an extensive 2025 tour.
