Rose Betts releases soul-stirring single ‘Running’ ahead of new album

UK-born, LA-based singer/songwriter Rose Betts has just unveiled her new single ‘Running,’ giving fans a taste of her upcoming album There Is No Ship, set for release on March 7th.
The latest single finds Betts reflecting deeply on the emotional weight of leaving her homeland, a journey that is equal parts sorrowful and liberating. Collaborating with Sean Cook and Nashville producer Mark Siegel, Betts’ ‘Running’ captures the tug-of-war between longing and self-discovery. Written during her retreat in Crestline, California, Betts found inspiration during walks around Lake Gregory, where the haunting landscapes mirrored her inner turmoil and helped unblock creative boundaries.
Rose shared the heartfelt impact of her relocation, explaining:
“Sometimes I feel like leaving my homeland split me apart. I never consulted my feet about the trip, maybe they had other plans for us. Maybe they got lost along the way or chose another path. Maybe they chose a better one!”
‘Running’ follows recent releases such as ‘Doodles’ and ‘Take This Body Home.’
