Brooklyn band QWAM shares punk love story in ‘About You’
Brooklyn punk band QWAM returns with ‘About You,’ the latest single from their upcoming album Girls Aren’t Afraid of Blood, out August 1, 2025.
Known for blending horror aesthetics with raw emotional intensity, QWAM’s newest track leans into something more tender. ‘About You’ reflects on long-term love and the emotional complexities that come with it. It’s a punk rock ballad of sorts—restless, self-aware, and soaked in sincerity.
Lobo says of the track:
“I’ve been with my partner for 9 years. When you’re with someone for that long, it’s impossible to always be your best self or expect them to always be theirs. But there is some sort of magic in being able to fold yourself into someone who really knows you, even in the moments of uncertainty.”
