Pry tease debut album with fast-paced, reflective track ‘So Good’

NYC-based duo Pry has shared ‘So Good,” the latest single from their upcoming debut album Wrapped in Plastic, arriving May 29, 2025.
‘So Good’ captures the sensation of emerging from life’s blur and rediscovering your sense of self. The track channels urgency and clarity in equal measure, with blunt, emotive vocals cutting through a fast-moving current of twisting guitars and shimmering synths. The lyrics trace an emotional arc inspired by an unfinished poem written by singer Simeon Beardsley’s grandfather, adding an intimate, intergenerational resonance to the band’s distinct sound.
Pry say:
“‘So Good’ is about being reintroduced to yourself after living in a blur. It was lightly inspired by an unfinished poem by Simeon’s grandfather called “ten roses” and reading into the lines left blank.”
The single follows a string of releases—’Tether You,’ ‘Heaven,’ and ‘Greener‘—all building momentum toward Wrapped in Plastic.
To celebrate the album’s release, Pry will perform a special release show at Night Club 101 in New York City on May 31, joined by Cal Fish and Crate. Full details can be found at nightclub101.com.
