Oral Habit unleashes fuzzed-out fury with new single ‘Sauerkraut’

Brighton psych-garage duo Oral Habit return with their latest single, ‘Sauerkraut,’ a blistering two-minute punk-driven statement of raw energy and unrelenting volume.
Co-produced alongside School Disco, ‘Sauerkraut’ thrives on a relentless, looping motif, embodying the spirit of CAN’s hypnotic rhythms and the searing intensity of Osees. The track charges forward with a fuzz-drenched, high-voltage sound while remaining distinctly their own. With its uncompromising approach to sound, the single showcases the duo’s dedication to their ethos: “play it hard, and play it loud.”
Offering more on the single, Charlie says:
“A trudging riff that never stops, ‘Sauerkraut’ gives a nod to our love of ‘Krautrock’ looping a motif for the entire song only to tarnish its honour with a blown out wall of fuzz.”
Following a string of breakthrough singles and extensive gigging across Brighton and London, Oral Habit has lined up a promising year ahead. With festival slots at Homegrown and The Alternative Escape, as well as a show supporting C Turtle in May, the band is poised to bring their ferocious energy to new audiences. Charlie will also be touring across Europe and the UK as a guitarist for ELLiS·D.
