Oral Habit rips through with fuzz and fury on new single ‘Garage Frock’

Brighton psych-garage trio Oral Habit have unleashed ‘Garage Frock,’ the feral title track from their debut EP due out July 11 via Sour Grapes.
Staying true to its high-octane reputation, ‘Garage Frock’ barrels forward with a lysergic punch. It’s a chaotic, instinctive track that throttles its way through fuzz-drenched riffs and unhinged organ jabs, capturing the raw psych-punk energy the trio has carved out across early singles like ‘Sauerkraut.’ With comparisons already drawn to Osees and Jack White, this new single confirms Oral Habit’s place among the UK’s new wave of underground guitar disrupters.
Offering more on the single, vocalist/guitarist Charlie Hales simply says:
“An instinctual shriek into the abyss, throttling our instruments until they leak with feedback. Flailing over organ keys whilst the pounding floor tom ties us back to the final cry, ‘was it all for free?’”
‘Garage Frock’ is out now. The Garage Frock! EP arrives July 11.
