Seattle’s Ohr shares enigmatic psych-electronic track ‘Afterglow’
Seattle-based musician Craig Klein, known by his moniker Ohr, shares his latest psych-electronic track, ‘Afterglow.’
Musically, “Afterglow” draws on Klein’s love of ’90s electronica, blending psychedelic textures, sampled rhythms, and woozy hooks into a cathartic mix of trance-infused pulses and anthemic roars. The inspiration for the track is rooted in a period of personal loss and transformation as Klein’s father fell ill and passed away unexpectedly.
Klein discusses the track:
“Thematically, my idea of the afterglow is enigmatic, an in-between state of light and dark. The known and the unknown, conscious and unconscious, this world and whatever is after.”
‘Afterglow’ is out now. Pre-order his upcoming album Afterglow here.
