Little Barrie & Malcolm Catto have released their latest single, ‘Spektator,’ offering a preview of their forthcoming album Electric War, set for release on April 18th via Easy Eye Sound.

‘Spektator’ is a testament to the band’s exploratory approach to music. Initially conceived as a rough demo, the track evolved during the recording process, with Catto introducing tempo changes and recruiting Bush to enhance the song’s depth and atmosphere.

The single arrives alongside a striking video directed by Robert Schober, known for his work with The Killers, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance. Shot at Easy Eye Sound’s studio in Nashville by Twin Lantern, the visual accompaniment further amplifies the song’s immersive quality.

Reflecting on the song’s development, Cadogan shared:

“Props to Malcolm for bringing in really cool ideas like the tempo shifts and recruiting his Heliocentrics bandmate Raven Bush to play violin, both of which took the song to somewhere new for us musically. It’s also the third single that features a video by the very talented director Robert Schober. I love them all but this is my favourite video he’s done for us so far.”

‘Spektator’ is out now. The video is below.
