JayWood returns with ‘Pistachios,’ the final preview single from his highly anticipated new album, Leo Negro, out September 5 via Royal Mountain Records and Captured Tracks.

The Montreal-based artist, also known as Jeremy Haywood-Smith, uses ‘Pistachios’ to explore themes of identity, attention, and personal growth. The track pulses with confidence and introspection, driven by JayWood’s signature blend of genre-bending production and vivid lyricism. Singing “Always looking for attention, I admit it, I can’t help it, I’m a Leo,” he reflects on a youthful need for the spotlight before stepping out of it with a more grounded perspective.

JayWood will support Leo Negro with a busy fall tour, beginning with performances at Toronto’s Second Summer Festival and POP Montreal in September. He will then join NoSo on a North American tour kicking off October 23 in Washington, D.C., with stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more.
