Isabel Pless embraces gratitude on latest single ‘Shirley Temples’

Today, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Isabel Pless shares ‘Shirley Temples,’ the final single ahead of her debut album Workhorse, set for release on February 21.
Using stripped-down instrumentation and vivid, lyrical imagery, ‘Shirley Temples’ invites listeners into Pless’ world. The song reflects on her last summer in Vermont before moving to Nashville, capturing a bittersweet blend of nostalgia, gratitude, and hope.
Pless shares:
“I wrote ‘Shirley Temples’ about my last summer in Vermont before moving to Nashville. For the first time in my life I felt so much gratitude for where I grew up and how it helped shape who I am. When I listen to it I feel a little happy, a little sad, and very hopeful— I hope everyone else feels similarly.”
‘Shirley Temples’ is out now. Workhorse will release on February 21.
