Exclusive Premiere: Iguana Death Cult discharge restless energy on ‘Reckless Running’ ahead of new album
Iguana Death Cult release new single ‘Reckless Running,’ previewing their fourth LP Guns Out, out April 10, 2026, via Greenway Records and The Reverberation Appreciation Society.
‘Reckless Running’ arrives as a high-energy track that leans into the Dutch art punk band’s raw, driving sound. Built around a fast-paced, bombastic structure, the single reflects its title through urgent instrumentation and restless momentum. The song captures a cycle of escape and repetition, with its intensity underscoring themes of avoidance and self-reflection. Following earlier single ‘Guns Out,’ the track continues to define the tone of the new album as a record rooted in movement, tension, and personal reckoning. A video for the single is also set to accompany the release.
The band shares:
“Old habits die hard, they say, and for the longest time I was a habitual escapist. Running away from my problems, doing the same shit expecting different outcomes. Got me stuck in a self induced groundhog’s day of sorts. Even though now I’ve found my bearings in life, I sometimes get drawn back into those darker echelons.”
‘Reckless Running’ is available to stream on March 25, 2026. Watch the exclusive video below.
