High. premieres explosive new single ‘In A Hole’ ahead of sophomore EP
New Jersey noisegazers High. have released their latest single, ‘In A Hole,’ ahead of their sophomore EP Come Back Down, due January 24, 2025, via Kanine Records.
‘In A Hole’ is a powerful track driven by intense guitar work and raw emotion. The track reflects the band’s journey of finding friendship and community amid personal struggles.
Castan explains:
“‘In A Hole’ is inspired by meeting our group of friends. It’s about being depressed and the people close to you dragging you out of it. It’s about the peace and belonging I used to dream about during childhood trauma and finally finding it. There’s a lyric – ‘These are the new stars, they burst alive.’ It’s about living life at its best and never wanting that feeling to end.”
With ‘In A Hole’ setting the tone for Come Back Down, High. continues to push their sonic boundaries, offering listeners an even more profound exploration of their emotional and musical depth.
