Gray Dens release new single ‘Tell Me’
‘Tell Me’ is from their self-released four-track EP due out November 15.
Written in the aftermath of a seven-year relationship’s end, ‘Tell Me’ stands as the emotional centerpiece of the EP. The track captures the agonizing final moments of a fading connection, where one partner pleads for answers in a situation they already know is unsalvageable. Frontman Grady Penna’s vocals, full of yearning, echo this desperation with lyrics like, “Tell me what you need / Tell me who to be / Tell me what to see / Please tell me who I need to be.”
Following the success of their previous single, ‘UFO,’ which premiered in Merry-Go-Round Magazine and led to a sold-out show at Los Angeles’ Permanent Records Roadhouse, ‘Tell Me’ solidifies Gray Dens’ return to the indie scene with their expanded lineup and refined sound.
