Orchestra Hits out September 20th on Upset The Rhythm.

Baltimore duo Ed Schrader’s Music Beat, fresh off a tour with Future Islands, has released a new single, ‘Roman Candle.’ The dazzling track is the second release from their forthcoming fifth album, Orchestra Hits, set to drop on September 20th via Upset The Rhythm. “We are not into the garden,” Schrader wails on ‘Roman Candle,’ a relentless track that serves as a response to the chaotic events of Woodstock ’99 and contrasts sharply with Joni Mitchell’s utopian ‘Woodstock.’

Schrader said:

“It was a far cry from the Garden of Eden. That experience defined what I didn’t want to be a part of. It was the raw ugliness that had crept in to fill the void of a better future which never came. It is us until we don’t want it to be us.”

Listen to ‘Roman Candle’ today.
