Ed Maverick continues to unravel his fourth studio album La Nube En El Jardín with the release of its fourth segment, ‘Violento.’

‘Violento’ explores a deeply personal state of emotional unrest. Maverick describes the track as reflecting “a state of violence due to personal problems that existed with a person I loved not in a romantic way, but in a fraternal way.” The song channels the heaviness of unresolved thoughts and resentment, illustrating a moment in which his perception was clouded. “I could not see things as they were… That is why I wrote what I wrote. Today I recognize that that was not the reality, but it was the only way I could see it at the time.”

Musically, ‘Violento’ stays true to the album’s minimalist essence, relying on Maverick’s voice and guitar to craft a raw, unfiltered emotional landscape. This simplicity echoes the artist’s return to his roots while offering an evolved perspective shaped by life’s complexities.

Out now, ‘Violento’ follows the releases of ‘nadie va a pensar en ti mejor que yo,’ valor de más, and no hay problema. Each segment allows the album to unfold gradually, creating space for listeners to absorb its layered themes.
