Legendary hip-hop trio De La Soul has officially announced their long-awaited 10th studio album, Cabin in the Sky , set for release on November 21, 2025, via Mass Appeal as part of the label’s Legend Has It series. The first single, ‘The Package,’ produced by Pete Rock, is available to stream now, with full album pre-sales launching today.
Built around the group’s signature blend of soulful samples, inventive lyricism, and forward-thinking production, Cabin in the Sky marks De La Soul’s first full-length project in nine years, following 2016’s the and the Anonymous Nobody…, which was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards. The new record features contributions from DJ Premier, Super Dave, Pete Rock, and guest appearances by Killer Mike, Yukimi from Little Dragon, Common, Nas, and Black Thought—a lineup that underscores the group’s enduring influence and creative range.
