Cut Glass Kings announce new album with haunting single ‘At The Borderline’
Birmingham duo Cut Glass Kings are back with a new single, ‘At The Borderline.’ which marks the beginning of their album campaign for their upcoming record, From A Distant Place.
‘At The Borderline’ is a charming blend of shoegaze and psych rock, with a driving beat and swirling guitars that conjure up a sense of mystery and longing.
According to McMurray:
“This song is almost like the bridge from our first record to this one. It shares some of its DNA. I remember Paul sending me the voice note of the chorus and think it’s one of our best. “we’re the fuse to a fire we’ve never understood” is about the two of us making music. A lot of the lyrics on the album are about that.”
With ‘At The Borderline,’ Cut Glass Kings are off to a strong start with their new album campaign. Fans can look forward to the band releasing more music from their upcoming record, From A Distant Place, out on February 21, 2025.
