Chase Petra explores faith and identity in their new single ‘Have Faith, Horatio’

Chase Petra has unveiled their latest single, ‘Have Faith, Horatio,’ alongside a Hamlet-inspired music video. The track is the latest preview from their upcoming album Lullabies For Dogs, set for release on March 7 via Wax Bodega.
‘Have Faith, Horatio’ is a deeply introspective track that grapples with faith, disillusionment, and identity. While lead singer Hunter Allen uses the song to reflect on her estrangement from organized religion, the broader theme speaks to the band’s ongoing search for meaning in an absurd world.
Allen shares:
“As a kid, I was roped into the teen worship concerts and I was caught up in the, “well, if she’s sleeping over on a Saturday, she’s gonna have to go to church with us on the Sunday.” I was told that I was going to hell, that abortion is a sin, that being gay is a sin, that God hates me and would smite me down, and on and on. What an absolute drag, am I right?”
‘Have Faith, Horatio’ is out now on your favorite DSP.
