Caroline Romano releases heartfelt new single ‘Pretty Boys’
Nashville-based alt-pop artist Caroline Romano has unveiled her latest single, ‘Pretty Boys,’ now available on all streaming platforms.
Following the success of her recent tracks like ‘Body Bag’ and ‘Doesn’t Matter,’ ‘Pretty Boys’ solidifies Romano’s presence in the alt-pop scene. The song begins with a simple guitar melody and Romano’s haunting vocals, building gradually into an anthem that mirrors the intensity and vulnerability of heartbreak.
In describing the track, Caroline Romano explains:
“‘Pretty Boys’ is my honest recount of heartbreak. It’s like reading straight from my diary—a dramatic story with a terribly disappointing ending. The song is a cautionary tale about the blurry line between friendship and something more. Just because you’ve kissed him doesn’t mean you should do it again, and just because he looks at you that way doesn’t mean you’re the only one. ‘Pretty Boys’ feels like a high school crush at 22, with all the highs, lows, and semi-committal main characters. It’s a very specific experience, but one that’s universally relatable.”
‘Pretty Boys’ is out now.
