‘Bajo El Silencio’ marks Carolina Mama’s cry for justice ahead of debut album AMINA

Argentine singer, composer, and filmmaker Carolina Mama has unveiled her powerful new single ‘Bajo El Silencio,’ featuring Grammy-winning producer Trooko. The track arrives as the penultimate single before her debut album AMINA, out September 26.
‘Bajo El Silencio’ is described as “an explosive cry for justice in the face of unspeakable violence, questioning how much harm women must endure before society changes.” The single is accompanied by an official video, showcasing Carolina Mama’s fearless artistry and her dedication to raising awareness through music and storytelling.
Carolina shares:
“This song is not for surrender, it is a rallying cry for resistance, for revolution, and empowerment. It is a challenge to the world to stand together and burn down the systems of oppression. We are not born to surrender, and neither should anyone else be. This song is a call to arms, a passionate fight for a world where women are safe and free.”
Working alongside producer Trooko — known for his collaborations with Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, and Residente — Carolina found a seamless creative partner.
Trooko states:
“I really admire Carolina’s art and voice. When she contacted me about her idea for ‘Bajo El Silencio,’ I immediately loved the narrative and the message; once I heard her verses, I really understood the intensity of the song. I really tried to match her energy through the music and the beat of the record! I think this message is really important all across the world, and more people need to be aware of the statistics and the day-to-day realities that many women have to put up with!”
With ‘Bajo El Silencio,’ Carolina Mama delivers not only a moving single but also a vital statement ahead of her highly anticipated debut album. AMINA arrives September 26.
