Breaking Benjamin return with powerful new single ‘Awaken’
After a five-year hiatus, hard rock legends Breaking Benjamin have returned with their highly anticipated new single, ‘Awaken.’
‘Awaken’ delivers everything fans expect from Breaking Benjamin: a potent blend of heavy riffs, anthemic melodies, and emotionally charged vocals. With their signature sound intact, the band showcases their ability to stay true to their roots while evolving musically. This track continues the band’s trend of high-impact singles, following hits like ‘Red Cold River’ and ‘Far Away.’
Reflecting on the process behind ‘Awaken,’ guitarist Jasen Rauch shares:
“Working on this song has been something new and exciting for all of us I believe. We’ve been able to explore more of who we are traditionally, while at the same time push boundaries and try things we haven’t done in the past. Musically we’ve tried hard to stay true to what Breaking Benjamin is, but offer a new take as well.”
