BLOKE drops final single ‘Up Tight’ ahead of debut EP

London/Berlin psych-rock outfit BLOKE has unveiled ‘Up Tight,’ the final single before the release of their debut EP Living Without Expectations, set to drop on February 14th, 2025, via Tonzonen Records/Cargo Records.
Following the fiery critique of capitalism in their previous single ‘Money Says,’ ‘Up Tight’ takes a more introspective turn. The razor-sharp anthem dissects the pressures of modern ambition, exposing the emotional toll of a world where success often overshadows human connection. BLOKE’s signature fusion of noise-rock, Krautrock, and psychedelia creates a turbulent yet cohesive soundscape, reflecting the inner conflicts of its themes.
Lead singer Jakob Buraczewski explains:
“These emotions are responding with such immediacy, mirroring the upbeat song structure. The escalating guitar distortion and tempo resonate deeply, creating a truly empathetic musical experience in this track.”
With Living Without Expectations, BLOKE promises to challenge musical and social conventions. ‘Up Tight’ serves as a compelling preview of what to expect from the EP while upholding the band’s reputation as a bold force in contemporary psych-rock.
