Singer/songwriter Allegra Krieger has announced the release of her highly anticipated new album, Art of the Unseen Infinity Machine, set to drop on September 13th via Double Double Whammy.

Lead single, ‘Never Arriving,’ is a poignant introduction to Krieger’s new album. The song features sharp phrases that allude to themes of biology, sex, and death.

Krieger explains:

“In this song, I imagine a world without violence, or possessiveness, where we keep moving through life, for the sake of wonder and curiosity, not for the sake of attainment, or arrival. I think the true points of arrival are birth and death, and everything in between, all of the turmoil and fighting, are the makings of our own corrupted souls. It’s a song begging for softness, in a world that can feel so harsh.”

The genesis of Art of the Unseen Infinity Machine is deeply personal for Krieger. Born out of a period of turmoil and transformation following a fire in her Chinatown apartment building, the album was created in the months following.

In support of the new album, Krieger will embark on a fall tour with Greg Mendez. The tour will kick off on October 17th at Songbyrd in Washington, DC, and will include stops in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Columbus, and a host of other cities, concluding at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, NY, on October 30th.
