Alffa unleashes punk rock fury with new single ‘Dance Again’
North Wales’ dynamic duo Alffa are back with their latest single, ‘Dance Again,’ offering a raw and powerful glimpse into their upcoming sophomore album O’r Lludw / From Ashes, set to be released on November 29th.
‘Dance Again’ strips back Alffa’s signature hard rock sound, diving headfirst into a storm of pure punk energy. The track channels a relentless intensity, with Sion Eifion Land’s pounding drums and Dion Wyn Jones’ gritty guitar riffs and guttural vocals driving the song forward. Despite its heavy atmosphere, the message of ‘Dance Again’ is one of hope and resilience, using the metaphor of dancing in the rain to symbolize overcoming life’s challenges.
Alffa explains the deeper meaning behind the song:
“By choosing to embrace the challenges symbolised by the rain, the act of dancing becomes a powerful release, alleviating the emotional strain and renewing one’s spirit. This song stands out as a pivotal piece on the album, encapsulating the overarching theme of finding strength and solace in difficult times.”
‘Dance Again’ is out now. This third single follows the success of ‘Pwythau’ and ‘Breathe Free.’
