Bristol’s Adult Leisure bring searing introspection to the forefront in their new single, ‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Her.’ The hard-hitting track challenges the listener to examine the socio-political climate in the UK today.

Following their August release ‘Borderline,’ Adult Leisure’s latest single layers gritty guitar and rich melodies with snarling call-and-response vocals, evoking influences from bands like Fontaines D.C. and The Cure. Produced by Ollie Searle at Humm Studios and mastered by John Webber, the track blends genre-spanning elements, pairing shimmering synths with explosive drum lines to capture a sense of defiance and resilience amid frustration. Lyrically, the song is both a personal narrative and a societal observation, expressing the band’s disillusionment with the state of Britain in the lead-up to the 2024 election.

“‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Her’ holds a lens firmly on the state of Britain, pre-election 2024,” the band shares. “We wanted our chance to express that anger. Life still isn’t good, and our way of dealing with it is through music – this is our petulance and frustration in a song.”

‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Her’ is out now.
