a.gris shares ‘bar’ as glitch-folk single from forthcoming EP
France-based artist a.gris releases the new single ‘bar’ as the latest track from the upcoming EP Gris, due March 27 via Géographie. The project is the solo venture of Alex Delamard, known as the singer and guitarist of Hoorsees and heavymodern, and marks a further step into a digitally textured folk sound.
‘bar’ builds on the direction introduced with earlier single ‘oblivion 2025’, combining acoustic minimalism with finely detailed electronic elements. The song balances stripped-back guitar lines with looping melodic figures that subtly fracture and reassemble, creating a sense of tension beneath its calm surface. Its sound draws from folk songwriting while incorporating digital micro-shifts more commonly associated with experimental pop production.
‘bar’ is available now to stream on all major platforms.
