Monster Rally has released his new single ‘Rosella,’ featuring Brazilian vocalist Sessa, out now via Flowering Jungle.

‘Rosella’ expands Monster Rally’s sound into new territory, pairing his collage-driven, psychedelic production style with Sessa’s Portuguese-language vocals. Known for blending rock, jazz, samba, and soul influences, Sessa brings a fluid melodic presence that complements Monster Rally’s layered instrumentation. The track leans into a dreamy, kaleidoscopic atmosphere, drawing from 1970s tropicalia while incorporating dub-inspired textures. The result is a lush, melodic single that reflects a broader shift in Monster Rally’s approach as he moves away from purely instrumental compositions.

On today’s collaboration, Monster Rally shares:

“When I started the process for making this features album, one of the first artists I knew I wanted to reach out to was Sessa. I’ve been a fan of his music for years, since I first found his vinyl at a local record store when I lived in LA. At first I couldn’t tell if he was a new artist or someone from 1970s Brazil.

“His music is the same way, he’s bringing the spirit of that era of music to his releases like no other artist is at the moment. ‘Rosealla’ is my take on that vibe of 70s tropicalia with some dub elements thrown in. Sessa lends his signature breezy vocals and guitar riffs to the track to make everything come together.”

‘Rosella’ is available now to stream on all major streaming platforms.

We’ve covered Monster Rally previously: ‘Own It‘ featuring Jordana and ‘Incredibly Blind‘ featuring X-Cetra.
