There’s so much good music out in the ether that sometimes it’s difficult to parse through all of it. Every week The Daily Music Report will do the hard work for you and highlight the best releases available on streaming services.

This week we’re highlighting new music from Computer, Mobb Deep, and Weakened Friends.

Computer – Station On The Hill

Vancouver experimental rock collective Computer release their debut album Station On The Hill via Dine Alone Records, now available worldwide. Formed by lifelong friends Hudson Schelesny and Ben Lock, the project has evolved from a home-recording duo into a seven-piece ensemble blending chaos, precision, and sonic exploration. Across its eight tracks, the album defies rock conventions with layers of saxophone, synths, and percussion, creating an immersive and unpredictable soundscape. Station On The Hill signals a bold new force in experimental rock.

Standout Songs: ‘Concrete Vehicles,’ ‘The Picture,’ ‘Weird New Vocation,’ and ‘Dissolution Use.’

Mobb Deep – Infinite

Mobb Deep’s Infinite, the duo’s first album since Prodigy’s passing, stands as both tribute and testament to their enduring Queensbridge legacy. Produced by Havoc and The Alchemist, the record rebuilds their trademark grit with reconstructed verses that recapture the pair’s raw chemistry and streetwise lyricism. Across tracks like ‘My Era,’ ‘Gunfire,’ and ‘Against the World,’ Havoc’s moody production and Prodigy’s resurrected verses evoke The Infamous-era magic without feeling hollow. Guest appearances from Nas, Big Noyd, and Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah and Raekwon ground Infinite in classic New York lineage, while moments like ‘Look at Me’ with Clipse remind listeners that Mobb Deep’s sound remains timeless—unyielding, reflective, and reminds us that it’s still very much Mobb Deep against the world.

Standout Songs: ‘Against the World,’ ‘Look At Me,’ ‘Taj Mahal,’ ‘My Era,’ and ‘Clear Black Nights.’

Weakened Friends – Feels Like Hell

Feels Like Hell, the new release from Sonia Sturino and Annie Hoffman, delivers a cathartic jolt in an era of apathy. Confronting nihilism and the crushing weight of global capitalism, the duo channel raw emotion through searing vocals and gritty rock and post-pop-punk grooves. Produced and engineered by Hoffman, with mixing and mastering by Brian Charles at Rare Signals in Cambridge, MA, the record captures both ferocity and freedom—Sonia’s unrestrained screams and Annie’s pulsing rhythms forming a defiant soundtrack for survival.

Standout Songs: ‘Tough Luck (Bleed Me Out),’ ‘Nosebleed,’ ‘NPC,’ and ‘Torn.’
