bbreathrr, the side-project of Giovanni Betteo (Young Prisms) and Stefanie Hodapp, announces their latest single ‘candytrip,’ out now via Fire Talk Records.
Following the reissue of their blog-era EP Fourteen late last year, the duo returns with a lush and saccharine dreampop anthem. ‘candytrip’ blends dreamy, ambient guitar work and shimmering textures typical of dreampop with the gritty intensity of fuzz-driven indie rock. Hodapp’s vocals float through layers of reverb, carrying a line that feels both intimate and eternal: “Promise till we die, until you meet me down by the fire.” The song builds on the duo’s penchant for glittering soundscapes, merging airy atmospheres with direct, melodic hooks.
