she’s green shares new single ‘Willow’ and announces upcoming EP Chrysalis

Minneapolis dream-pop band she’s green return with new music after a two-year break.
‘Willow’ serves as a delicate yet urgent reflection on humanity’s crumbling relationship with nature. True to the band’s dream-inducing style, the song floats between nostalgia and unease, carried by fluttering guitars and a melancholic vocal performance from frontwoman Zofia Smith.
The band explains:
“‘Willow’ reflects on our dying relationship with the natural world—a relationship that’s not always loving, but formative nonetheless. It’s an energetic song that we love playing live.”
The new single follows previous 2025 releases ‘Graze‘ and ‘Figurines,’ and builds on the momentum of the band’s well-loved 2023 debut EP Wisteria. Chrysalis will feature five tracks, including ‘Willow,’ and will be celebrated with an EP release show at Fine Line in Minneapolis on August 15.
