Cast unleash new single ‘Poison Vine’ Featuring P.P. Arnold ahead of upcoming album Yeah Yeah Yeah

Cast have returned with new energy and a bold new single, ‘Poison Vine,’ featuring legendary soul singer P.P. Arnold. The track arrives ahead of the band’s forthcoming album Yeah Yeah Yeah, due out January 30th, 2026 via Scruff of the Neck Records.
‘Poison Vine’ introduces a swaggering, groove-heavy sound that expands Cast’s sonic palette. Built on a foundation of gritty rock ‘n’ roll and propelled by John Power’s melodic instinct, the track is given added depth and soul by P.P. Arnold’s powerhouse vocals, bringing a rush of vintage flair that echoes Merry Clayton’s iconic turns.
John adds:
“There’s an angst to ‘Poison Vine’ that wrote itself: ‘Something deep inside you want me to find.’ It’s got a groove and a sassiness throughout the track, but when I heard them two vocals kicking in on the chorus, then I just knew we had it! I thought, that’s it, that’s the real thing.”
‘Poison Vine’ is out now.
