This week we’re highlighting new music from FKA twigs, Mogwai, and Flipturn.
FKA twigs – Eusexua
Marking her first full-length album in five years FKA Twigs has released her third studio album, Eusexua. Out now via Young and Atlantic Records, the album blends techno-inspired soundscapes with euphoric and transcendent themes. Twigs described the album as “deep but not sad.” The title track and lead single, ‘Eusexua,’ debuted on September 13, 2024, followed by singles ‘Perfect Stranger’ and ‘Drums of Death.’ Influenced by her time in Prague and collaborations with artists like Two Shell and Koreless, the album explores alternative cultures and subcultures.
Standout Songs: ‘Eusexua,’ ‘Perfect Stranger,’ ‘Sticky,’ ‘Childlike Things,’ and ‘Striptease.’

Mogwai – The Bad Fire
Scottish post-rock band Mogwai has released their eleventh studio album, The Bad Fire. Out via Rock Action Records in the UK and Europe and Temporary Residence Limited in the US, the album was produced by John Congleton and recorded at Chem 19 Studios. The album features artwork by Dave “DLT” Thomas, depicting a volcanic crater, with the title referencing an old Scottish term for hell. The band described the album as a refuge during challenging personal times, noting, “We often hear from people that our music has helped them get through hard times in their lives, and for once I think it applies to us as well.” The Bad Fire includes 10 tracks, with deluxe editions offering demos and bonus material.
