Promoted through singles like ‘Baddy on the Floor’ and ‘Treat Each Other Right,’ the album was celebrated with a residency at London’s Venue MOT and a headline performance at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival.

It was preceded by the singles ‘Bells and Whistles’ and ‘Rainbow Overpass.’ The album’s dice-themed concept reflects Conor Oberst’s view of life as a game of chance. Tanukichan, the musical project of Hannah van Loon, returns with Circles, a new EP out now via Carpark Records. This marks a departure from her earlier work with Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bear, as van Loon collaborates with a new producer, Franco Reid, for the first time. The EP features themes of self-reflection and personal growth, with tracks like ‘City Bus’ reflecting on her childhood and ‘It Gets Easier’ embracing newfound emotional maturity. With a heavier, more expansive sound, Circles showcases Tanukichan’s evolution into a larger, more dynamic sonic landscape.
