MJ Lenderman – Manning Fireworks
Manning Fireworks is the fourth solo album by American musician MJ Lenderman, released on September 6, 2024, via Anti- and Epitaph Records. Announced on June 24, 2024, alongside the single ‘She’s Leaving You,’ the album was recorded at Drop of Sun Studios in Lenderman’s hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. It’s described as offering a blend of witty and melancholic reflections, incorporating “punchlines” and “rusted-wire guitar solos” from his earlier work while introducing a “new sincerity” through Lenderman’s unique perspective. The album spans nearly 39 minutes and was produced by Lenderman and Alex Farrar.

The Dare – What’s Wrong With New York?
What’s Wrong with New York? is the debut studio album by American musician Harrison Patrick Smith, known by his stage name The Dare. Released on September 6, 2024, through The Dare Is a Business and Polydor Republic, the album has garnered praise from critics. Following The Dare’s 2023 debut The Sex EP, the album includes two tracks from the EP, ‘Girls’ and ‘Good Time.’ Influenced by early-2000s New York City dance-rock acts like LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Fischerspooner, What’s Wrong with New York? is a key part of the “electroclash revival” movement. Prior to its release, the album was promoted by two singles, ‘Perfume’ and ‘You’re Invited,’ both accompanied by music videos. With a runtime of 27 minutes and 24 seconds, the album blends electroclash, electro-rock, new rave, and dance-punk, and was produced entirely by Smith.

Fred again.. – ten days
Recorded from 2023 through to July 18, 2024, Ten Days is the fourth studio album by British producer Fred Gibson, known as Fred again… Released on September 6, 2024, through Atlantic Records, the album features a diverse lineup of guest artists, including Obongjayar, Jozzy, Sampha, Anderson .Paak, Skrillex, and Four Tet, among others. Announced by Gibson in July 2024, the album’s concept centers on “ten songs about ten days,” reflecting on quiet, intimate moments from the past year. The album includes the singles ‘Adore U,’ ‘Ten,’ and ‘Places to Be,’ and will be available on vinyl starting October 25, 2024.
