There’s so much good music out in the ether that sometimes it’s difficult to parse through all of it. Every week The Daily Music Report will do the hard work for you and highlight the best releases available on streaming services.
This week we’re highlighting new music from Parannoul, The Smashing Pumpkins, and JPEGMAFIA.
Parannoul – Sky Hundred

Sky Hundred follows 2023’s After the Magic and was preceded by two singles, ‘Painless’ and ‘Gold River.’ Parannoul shares his thoughts on the album, “I dedicate this album to those who still listen to my songs, to my family, to those who have left, and to hundreds of me.”

The Smashing Pumpkins – AGHORI MHORI MEI
Follow up to their 138-minute rock opera Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts, Aghori Mhori Mei is a concise and compact 10-track endeavor spanning 44 minutes. Written and recorded over two years the album is being billed as a “straight-up rock and roll guitar record.” Produced by Billy Corgan Aghori Mhori Mei sounds very much like the Siamese Dream / Mellon Collie version of The Smashing Pumpkins.
